How Docs Coverage Bot handles repository, account, and billing data.
Docs Coverage Bot processes GitHub webhook payloads and GitHub API data needed to analyze pull requests, compute documentation coverage, post check runs and PR comments, and provide optional dashboard features.
The app reads changed files in pull requests so it can detect undocumented public symbols. Repository content is used only to provide the service requested by the installation owner.
If you sign in to the dashboard, the app may store basic GitHub account information such as your login and avatar. If you subscribe to Pro, billing is handled by Stripe and the app stores only the billing identifiers needed to manage your subscription.
Docs Coverage Bot does not sell repository or account data. Data is retained only as long as needed to operate the service, maintain scan history, and support billing and support workflows.
